These are the outcomes of from Elements I - the first half of the final year. 

As a designer I began by investigating sheds, outhouses and other unusual architectural buildings. From here, my research spiralled into all fors of architecture; from pill boxes to high end grand design buildings. I took influence form the lines found in the forms I loved, and created shapes and connections I felt related to that. 

 

Although pleased with these outcomes, they are very safe- and have been 'polished' (quite literally) so that concept is muffled by design. In the next half of this year, I will be taking the information I have learnt from this project onto the making section for goldsmiths and my degree show body of work. I aim to make at a larger scale, to use precious materials and to press forward with the concept behind the work.
